Up and up!

 I got some great news the other day. My manager,  and a very close friend Rick,  called me and told me about a competition he had entered me into a while back. The competition was with acoustic magazine. It turns out I have made it to the final 12 and have been invited to play in front of a panel in Exeter on 30 June. This is very exciting news! The   winner of the competition stands to win some great prizes including a  set at the Beautiful Day Festival in August, £2500 worth of recording equipment including a really cool guitar and the portable studio.   It all seems to be happening at the moment and I’m looking forward to the three gigs and have next week.

 The one drawback with the competition is that Exeter is miles away, well past London, which means I will have to fly to Cardiff and then get a train to Exeter. I’m not worried though, I’m really looking forward to the competition. At the moment I’m just looking forward to chilling out and enjoying some time with my wife and son.
