There are many moments in my life that have helped me in trying to define why I’m here. Some are through my experiences with music, some with my faith, and some through simple observation of others. We are so very complex as individuals and yet so simple when it comes to our basic functionality.

We is here! Berlin is really nice so far. We (the Mrs, my boy, and the DJ Buddha) left the house at some unGodly hour this morning to get our 6am flight from Edinburgh to Berlin.
SprattonWell well! Spratton turned out to be a great experience all round. Not only were we made to feel very welcome, we won the meat raffle on the first night (and enjoyed a massive pork roast on the Saturday), the prize raffle the next night (Frankie Boyle DVD), and the Gig went really well too.
With the addition of Carleko and a few other Spratton residents, some guitar tune ups, and a whole load of arranging for the evening, we are set to go. I must say I am looking forward to this. I met some of the Spratton Folk Festival committee last night so it should prove to be [...]
It’s way past my bedtime and, for some strange reason, I always turn into a bit of an insomniac before I hit the road. I’m off to Spratton tomorrow to play a gig and hopefully generate some interest about the Spratton Folk Festival.
